  • Estate Planning Law Specialist (EPLS) by the Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc.

    To become Board-certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist (EPLS), an attorney must have devoted at least forty percent of his or her practice to estate planning for a minimum of five years.  In addition to passing a comprehensive examination in estate planning law, the attorney must also receive recommendations from five colleagues and must establish that he or she has at least thirty-six continuing legal education credits on estate planning topics within the last three years.

  • Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®)

    This is a graduate level, multi-disciplinary specialization in estate planningobtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning.

Raised in Lake Tapps, Washington, Mr. Burris enjoyed his time in the Palouse and Northern Idaho so much that he was thrilled at the opportunity to practice law in the L.C. Valley, which he and his family now call home.  Mr. Burris enjoys hunting, cooking Italian food, and rooting for the Cougs and Zags.
